Helpful Info and Tips
All of our clippies are made using 1 3/4" single prong alligator clips. The ribbon we use on our clips can be wiped clean with a soft cloth should they become dirty. Clips can come either lined or unlined. I recommend unlined for older girls with more hair. It is easier to put an unlined clip into thicker hair or onto pony or pigtails.

If you prefer unlined clips on your younger girls with finer hair, you can get the clips to hold by using a small, clear elastic band to make a small poof-poof. The clip will hold in her hair fine using this method. It is easiest to use a small pair of nail scissors to carefully cut the elastic out of the hair rather than trying to get it out. However, I do recommend lined clips for little girls and babies with fine, thin hair. If it needs extra help staying in, you can have non-slip grip added to your clips and bows.
We are excited now to offer snap barettes! Please make a note with your order if you would prefer this clip style!
We only use the finest ribbon for our bows and clips. Each clip and bow are handmade to order. We do not use any wire in our bows, so no worries about any unwanted pokes! All of the ribbon ends are heat sealed to prevent ugly fraying and unravelling.
We treat our bows so they will stay poofy during shipping. If you find that over multiple wearings that they need to be spruced back up to their original loopyness, simply spray them with fabric starch and stuff the loops with tissue paper or kleenex. They will dry in approximately an hour, or you can blow dry them to speed up the process. Starch can be found in the laundry aisle for less than a dollar. This will keep your bows looking fabulous wear after wear!
Please remember not to let your daughter take a nap with her hair bows and clips in! They may contain small parts and pose a choking hazard. |
